Most common causes of back-pain are due to life style-Cushions, too soft beds, Stressful life style, RSI, Sedentary life styles , Professional stress, continued computer use, wrong postures.
The approach of yoga to back-ache is to address/relieve the pain first by simple easy to practice yoga postures, some very simple breathing exercises, and deep relaxation techniques, and meditation totaling to about 30 to 40 minutes/day .This can be done by anybody irrespective of age, gender or experience of yoga. After one gets relief fro pain then we teach you to strengthen the back so that you will never ever get back ache. Also we introduce certain thought processes which will make certain notional corrections there by the perception of stress. The deep relaxation addresses and releases the spasms/stiffness of the muscles.
