Yoga certainly does control blood sugar levels and Diabetes. Regular practice literally burns (through specific practice generated heat) sugar level. By applying Ujjayi breath technique (throaty breathing) with postures the blood becomes purified and thin. There are many poses that directly deal with the problem. Also breathing techniques (Pranayama) are great physician. For this problem consult well experienced teacher who has a record in dealing with Diabetes.
