Yoga practice should not take more than one and a half hour including resting part for an average person. The aim of Yoga is to invigorate, not to deplete us. Well established practitioners can practice even two and a half hours including resting part. There are times (especially in youth) when one practices longer to gain maturity in the discipline, but these times do not last forever.
